The Beauty of the Season (CHRISTMAS)

Its the best season of the year.. Many reasons justifies this, not just because of the weather and the gifts, but because of reason of the season, a season to express love, to spend time with family, to really connect to humanity and to share happiness.

The Uniqueness of Christmas is more than the Food, the Drinks, the outings, the fun and relaxation, although its peculiar to only this time of the year, Christmas is meant to bring families together, to help ease the stress, to extend the extra hand of hope to those in need, its a season to not just make merry, but to make the world happier, and greener, to touch the Earth in its soul and affect lives all around. but hey, here is the sad part of the season..

Many people keep spending Christmas just on themselves, the general mis-conception which has been driven for generations over and over decades is that this season is coined just for merry on self and gratification of person. Even the thought of gaining true happiness from only self gratification is a thought to close to impossibility.

So what then is the BEAUTY OF THE SEASON, the true astonishing fact of this holiday is that happiness can be achieved with very little effort, by sharing and giving to those whose need are glaring, by visiting areas where LOVE seems lacking, by igniting little smiles and eradicating solitude this gives reasons to this special season.
So take out time, spend quality time with Family, make the Home brighter with decorations and lights, visit a less privilege home, spread gifts to those known and unknown, spread the gospel of LOVE, and Enjoy true happiness.

5 amazing facts about Cakes

#1 : The word ‘cake’ comes from Middle English  kake, and is probably a borrowing from Old Norse (compare the modern Norwegian kake, as well as Icelandic and Swedishkaka). It is also related to the Ge word for cake, Kuchen. Interestingly, the French, Spanish, and Italian words for ‘cake’ do not share a common root; they are gâteau, pastel, and torta respectively. They are, however, related to the English words ‘gateau’, ‘pastry’, and ‘tart’.
#2: The meaning of ‘cake’ has changed over time, and the first cake (according to the original Oxford English Dictionary definition), was:
‘A comparatively small flattened sort of bread, round, oval, or otherwise regularly shaped, and usually baked hard on both sides by being turned during the process.’
#3:  Cakes were a part of strange rituals million years ago. Have you heard of Celtic people? They celebrate a festival by name Beltane festival. During this festival, they lit bonfires atop a hill and will roll down round cakes from the hill. If the cake doesn’t break, they believe it will bring good fortune - - bakistryblog

#4:  Birthdays used to be celebrated quite differently, as the first birthday cake was originally a cake given as an offering on a person’s birthday. The first citation of ‘birthday cake’ in the OED, from 1785, reads ‘His birth-day cakes crowd on him in such store, The house abounds.’ - - http://blog.oxforddictionaries.com/
#5: despite the thousand types of cakes we have on Earth, cakes can be classified into 4 major classes based on their major ingredients, Yeast Cakes, sponge cakes, Cheese Cakes, and Butter Cakes, though other classifications like FruitCakes and  Flourless Chocolate Cakes exist - -Wikipedia
